A Record Breaking Year for SEMA Award Winning Speedmaster

No time has been more exciting than this for the Speedmaster development team, winning two SEMA Global Media Awards at The 2016 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada last week.

Making it 7 years in a row for the automotive aftermarket retailer, Speedmaster has won an impressive 8 awards. This feat has never been achieved before in a 40+ billion dollar industry comprising of automotive giants Ford, GM and Chrysler.

On track for a record breaking year, Speedmaster USA operations manager Jay Verduzco was inducted into the prestigious SEMA 35 under 35 for 2016, and Speedmaster CEO, Jason Kencevski has been nominated for the 2016 Gen III Innovator of The Year.

Having worked with Speedmaster for over 10 years now, Verduzco has contributed to new-product development and played a major role in creating Speedmaster’s online success. Kencevski, in his second year running, was nominated for the Gen III Innovator in 2015. As the driving force behind the visually distinctive Speedmaster brand, Jason has been commended for creating Speedmaster’s award winning global eco-system.

Amid a well anticipated show, The Speedmaster 2016 SEMA Booth featured appearances by Kamikaze Chris from Discovery channels hit show Street Outlaws, free standing display podiums showcasing the new DNA product range, a full fledged barista and a dedicated backdrop. “We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came out to see us at the 2016 SEMA Show. We were humbled by the reception we received from our fans and fellow industry peers about our new DNA product line. We would like to thank the employees who put in time across all 4 days to be at the show, and the rest of the Speedmaster team behind the scenes who contributed to this event being a success.” Jason Kencevski, CEO
